Static has a number of links and working relationships with other organisations. As part of understanding its threshold (see Static Complex) Static sees the relationships formed with these groups as an area for constant appraisal and questioning.

One of Static's primary relationship is with SPLICE. SPLICE is an independent group set up to provide critical support for arts graduates as they leave college, and also young artists in Liverpool seeking structures to support their practice. SPLICE manifesto reads as follows:

SPLICE MANIFESTO

SPLICE is an artist-led group set up to support and critique the practice of artists in Liverpool, with particular emphasis on recent graduates. This is a non-exclusive group and can include artists from all areas of practice. SPLICE provides the opportunity to work with other artists while developing your professional practice outside of an institution. An arena is created that allows critical debate to occur and encourages the possibility to experiment with new ideas and methods of working. SPLICE aims to provide artists with the intellectual support to develop innovative and relevant ways to sustain and challenge their practice.

- Splice will act as an agency supporting the development of artists practice based in Liverpool.

- Splice will generate the development of a critical culture in the city.

- Splice will encourage critical evaluation of existing models for artistic
practice and encourage the development of new methods.

- Splice will seek to build connections both inside and outside of the city.

- Splice recognizes that innovative thinking comes from all areas of thought.
